There is one huge negative in World of Warcraft, and I have to mention it. That’s it – everything else, you will acquire with your own sweat and blood. Only your game time, and a few cosmetic mounts. There’s just so much content to experience, and it’s definitely the Last MMO Standing as far as P2W goes – there’s just nothing you can buy with money in WoW. I’m one of the few millions that started playing WoW back in vanilla, and I can’t stop myself from coming back to it every few years. I challenge you to spend just a couple of hours on the free trial to level 20 – you won’t even have to pay attention to get amazed by the sheer amount of detail all around you. You most probably have a vague image of the game from a decade back, or you just hate anything that “doesn’t look realistic”. I understand their view point of course – “how can this ugly game get so much praise”.įirst things first – to be fair – WoW is far from ugly. I meet more and more people that have never – ever – played WoW, and are actually negatively biased towards it. 😂 The amount of work hours that have been collectively put in WoW over almost two decades, are an unmatched feat by any other MMO, and they are reflected in the game. I'd legit play this game a lot more but being unable to experiment with other characters without leveling them up makes the game very boring to me personally.World of Warcraft is undoubtedly the strongest synonym of “MMORPG games”, and anyone who thinks otherwise – is in denial. I don't play it anymore but my brother still plays it regularly so I'm up to date with how the game works. The story is fine and the world is really gorgeous and fun to explore. Honestly the game is fun and really well made, I'd definitely recommend it to anyone. Weapons are locked behind Gacha too so you'll never get to experience some cool weapon combos.

Loot in the game is repetitive, you always find bad items that are used as update fodder. BUT they change gameplay substantially and it's fun to come up with different builds depending on your playstyle. Leveling up a team of 4 characters is fine, more than that takes a lot of resources.
The world is tied to your Account level, so if you want to try a new character they will be severely underleved. You need to focus on a small numbers of characters or they'll be underleveled. You can easily enjoy the game playing very casually

The gameplay is action RPG, every character has 2 to 3 skills and you combo them with other members of your team, you control a team 4 characters and can switch between them mid-combat.
